We had an outstanding response to our 2026 ACWL-Nuveen Juried Exhibition which will be on display March 13 – April 25. Ninety-six artists from across Michigan and one from Pennsylvania submitted 173 artworks for Juror Amelia Anderson to review. Thanks to the generosity of 89 supporters, the Arts Council of White Lake - Nuveen Center (ACWL-Nuveen) raised $32,257 during our end-of-year giving campaign! Earlier this year, the grant support ACWL-Nuveen typically recieves from the Michigan Arts and Culture Council (MACC) was in jeapordy. State legislators had proposed eliminating funding for MACC entirely and Michigan arts nonprofits were bracing for impact.
