What do I get out of it?
Aside from the emotional fulfillment of sharing a skill with your community members, you will also be compensated $30 an hour. Teachers are also eligible for prep time pay. See Teacher Contract for more details

Is that art?
Yes. Well, maybe. We are open to any ideas that ask our students to get creative. It could be poetry, sewing, music, drawing, movement, or even making slime.

How do I apply?
The link above titled "SUBMIT A CLASS IDEA" will bring you to a google form. Fill out this form with your idea for a class. You will need a picture of the finished product. After your submission a staff member will be in touch to finalize the class.

The ACWL - Nuveen has the right to reject a class concept at anytime. There are a lot of factors that go into planning a class including price of materials, interest of the public, and time frame. Keep in mind that sometimes a class just isn't feasible, but we will work with you to adjust the class as best we can.
For Current Teachers
A reminder that your invoice is due within 48 hours of your class or final class of a multi-class session. Invoices can be downloaded HERE or found at the ACWL-Nuveen. Invoices should be given to ACWL-Nuveen staff or emailed to nuveen@artswhitelake.org
