Artist Talk with Peter 'the Potter' Johnson

The Peter 'the Potter' Johnson: Art of Apprenticeship exhibition closes Saturday, June 7. This means you have very limited time to enjoy this unique array of artwork created by master potter Peter Johnson and a handful of his apprentices!

To close out this exhibit, the ACWL-Nuveen will be hosting a reception this Saturday, June 7 from 1:00 - 3:00pm. Starting around 1:30, Peter will be giving an informal artist talk, which we're sure will transition into a great and stimulating conversation amongst Peter, an apprentice or two, and everyone else! As always, we'll have food and drinks - this time we are serving potluck style on Peter's pottery to honor that beloved tradition among folks who work with clay. We truly hope you can join us.

If you haven't already, please take some time to watch this insightful video featuring Peter and two of his apprentices: Chester Winowiecki and Kim Funk.
