We Want to Show Your Artwork!

Artists of all ages – we need you!  We are coordinating a WATER themed community art exhibit entitled - Water Wonderland - to take place in the ACWL-Nuveen exhibition gallery July 10 – August 22. Participation is FREE and open to artists of ALL ages, with prizes awarded in both Adult and Youth categories.

As Michiganders we are fortunate to be surrounded by an abundance of fresh water in the beautiful and diverse great lakes, numerous rivers, creeks, inland lakes and ponds. All these bodies of water provide rich sources of inspiration whether it be environmentally, historically and/or personally to those of us who live and interact with these precious resources daily. Also, we as humans are made up of on average 60% water! How does this notion resonate with you?  Does water inspire you if so, how have you captured its essence? We hope that you will share your creativity in our community call for art.

A public reception will be held on Friday, August 7 from 4:00 - 6:00pm in conjunction with the Maritime Festival activities taking place in White Lake August 6-8.
