We Want to Exhibit Your Artwork!

The deadline is quickly approaching to drop off your lighthouse-themed artwork for the ACWL-Nuveen’s summer show – Beacons on the Shore – on display July 29 – August 30. Please deliver your artwork the week of July 12 – 19 during our open hours: Tuesday – Friday 11:00am – 5:30pm and Saturday 11:00am – 3:00pm.

This show is FREE to artisans of all ages working with all art media. This exhibit was inspired by the White River Light Station's 150th anniversary but your artwork can reference any lighthouse or light station anywhere in the world or even from your imagination!  What inspires you about lighthouses? Let us showcase your creativity!

This painting, which can be found at the Montague Museum, was painted by local artist Fred Norman. It was gifted to Maude Berg Adamson in 1902 in celebration of her wedding. Mrs. Adamson was granddaughter of Capt. William Robinson - first Keeper of the White River Lighthouse - and was born in the lighthouse!
