The 2026 Free Summer Concert Series is here and filled with fan favorites to celebrate our 40th season!

Local favorites and White Lake residents, Eric & Karen Smith, kick off our concert series on Tuesday, June 16th, presented by the City of Whitehall with sound sponsor, Lisa Wall Interior Design. If you enjoyed Eric & Karen Smith’s performance at our 40th Birthday Bash, you definitely won’t want to miss them at the bandshell. This dynamic duo has been playing together since the 1980s. Eric & Karen perform originals and also enjoy putting their own spin on popular cover songs from a variety of genres. We are looking forward to welcoming them back to the bandshell!

Grace Theisen and her band are back to perform original Americana music on June 23rd presented by the City of Montague. Originally from Kalamazoo, Grace moved to Tennessee after graduating from Hope College to run her non-profit, Songs Against Slavery. Their mission was to raise awareness and fight sex trafficking in the U.S. through benefit concerts, raising over $375,000. In 2019, Grace moved back to Kalamazoo to pursue singing and songwriting full-time and has since created quite the following. Her sound blends Americana, Blues and Folk into songs that are heartfelt, powerful, and deeply personal. Join us at the bandshell before the concert at 3:00 for a FREE Songwriting Workshop with Grace and fellow musician Jilian Linklater.

On June 30th, we’ll welcome Kyle Brown & the Human Condition to the stage presented by Winberg Construction. The band features Kyle Brown (Vocals/Guitar), Nina Sofia (Vocals/Guitar), Mike Schertenlieb (Drums), Mikey Olsen (Keys), and Dan Hildebrandt (Bass). Together, they’ll fuse Folk, Rock, Country & Americana to bring a dynamic sound to the bandshell. With songs meant for listeners to explore the full meaning of "the human condition," the band represents their name to the fullest extent. Help us welcome Kyle Brown and the Human Condition back to the White Lake area later this month!

All concerts start at 7pm at the Montague-Whitehall Rotary Bandshell with a free craft activity for children available at each concert. An exciting addition to this year’s concerts will be Sassy Cat Coffee & Concessions selling snacks and drinks with bold flavors and good vibes from their mobile coffee truck. Thank you to our Concert Series Sponsors: CatchMark Technologies, Snow Sips Pub Craw - Remax West, the Michael James Family, the Viola E. Bray Charitable Trust and our Community Arts Collaborator, The Playhouse at White Lake.
