Nina Oliver's two-week residency at the ACWL-Nuveen stretched into three weeks, with an official end date of August 20. During that time, Nina completed 7 paintings, attended a Perspective of Art Summer Art Camp taught by Marvin Bolthouse, spent four hours with her Artist Mentor, Lester White, and received tons of guidance from ACWL-Nuveen Assistant Director Susan Wink.
Although Nina won't be spending any more time working at the ACWL-Nuveen, we are looking forward to two different exhibitions of her work. Her pieces will first be on display at Muskegon Heights Academy, where Nina goes to school, during the month of October. Her work will then return to the ACWL-Nuveen to be on display throughout our Fall into the Arts -Color Creativity Exhibit, which will be held from November 5 - December 4.
