🧘Mental health and physical health are inseparable from one another, which is why so many healthcare institutions provide arts programming for patients. Making artwork can lower cortisol levels, reduce cognitive impairment, and help people cope with mental and emotional distress. And the negative effects of social isolation can be reduced by engaging with art classes, open studio, exhibits, concerts, and more.
