Summer moves pretty fast when there's so much great stuff to do! The best musicians around Michigan have been providing the perfect summer soundtrack down at the Montague-Whitehall Rotary Band Shell over the past several months. There are just two more bands in our 37th season and you won't want to miss them. We hope you'll join us Tuesday evenings at 7:00pm to help finish off the season with a bang! Here's a peek at August's artists:
August 8: Carrie McFerrin Trio, sponsored by City of Montague. “Michigan’s Sweetheart” Carrie McFerrin has been a staple in the Michigan music scene for over a decade. She brings a fierce country twang with an indie twist. Her stage presence is a force full of wit and hilarity as she shares stories about her life and inspired songwriting. Thrice-nominated for the WYCE Jammies, Carrie recently released her highly anticipated new album “Postpartum” to much acclaim. Have a listen to "Baby, I Love You" off her most recent album.
August 15: Nathan Walton & the Remedy, sponsored by Fetch Bewing Company. Two-time Jammie Award Winner and season 3 American Idol contestant, Nathan Walton is West Michigan's original soul-rocker. Check out the video for their rollicking song "Get Myself Back on My Feet".
