Round 1: The Event
Saturday, February 9th brought many folks of the White Lake area out to the American Legion for Trivia Night. Teams of up to 8 people answered questions on a variety of topics including science, geography, pop culture, art, and local history. Participants were able to purchase food and drinks, as well as 'mulligans' (correct answers) and 50/50 raffle tickets.
Round 2: The Numbers
We were blown away by the attendance of so many community members! With 17 teams of 3-8 people, we had over 100 folks competing for the $100 first place prize. The 50/50 raffle raised $258 and the winners generously donated $100 of their winnings to ACWL-Nuveen. All in all, we were able to raise over $1,700 for the Arts Council of White Lake - Nuveen which will be a tremendous help as we strive to inspire the White Lake community through accessible and engaging opportunities in the arts.
