Class Description

Ages 6-10 $12, $10.80 for ACWL Members Young adventurers will create their own magical world step by step! Using drawing and mixed media, students will design themselves as explorers, map their land, invent strange plants, and discover fantastic creatures. At the end of the week, each student will bind their discoveries into a Field Guide to their world to share with family and friends. Minimum: 4 Maximum: 12 About the Instructor: Chelsea Kirksey holds a BFA in Art Education and is currently pursuing graduate studies in Art Therapy, combining her passion for art and wellness to inspire young learners. She is a multidisciplinary artist and educator who encourages students to explore creativity through mixed media, storytelling, and the artistic process. ACWL-Nuveen Summer Art Classes are supported by the Lothmann Family Fund of the Community Foundation for Muskegon County.

Cancellation Policy

Please note - Registration for classes is required, unless otherwise noted. You may register online, by calling (231) 893-2524 or visiting the ACWL-Nuveen. Please enroll in classes at least 48 hours before the scheduled class time. Courses cancelled due to insufficient enrollment will be 100% refunded. You can cancel your registration up to 3 days in advance of the class date. If you withdraw from a class less than 3 days before the class, you will be given a class credit.
