Class Description
Ages 5-7/Grades K-2 $12, $10.80 for ACWL Members Students will use various hand-building techniques to create a decorative container and a fish wall-hanging. Techniques covered include working with a pre-rolled slab of clay and creating your own clay coils. Please note that both projects will need to be fired and picked up at a later date. ACWL-Nuveen staff will notify you when your pieces are ready to be picked up! Minimum: 4 Maximum: 6 About the Instructor: Kathy Rogers is an artist and retired elementary school art teacher from Whitehall. She has taught at the ACWL-Nuveen Center for years, is an Artist Member and active volunteer at the ACWL-Nuveen. ACWL-Nuveen Summer Art Classes are supported by the Lothmann Family Fund of the Community Foundation for Muskegon County.

Cancellation Policy
Please note - Registration for classes is required, unless otherwise noted. You may register online, by calling (231) 893-2524 or visiting the ACWL-Nuveen. Please enroll in classes at least 48 hours before the scheduled class time. Courses cancelled due to insufficient enrollment will be 100% refunded. You can cancel your registration up to 3 days in advance of the class date. If you withdraw from a class less than 3 days before the class, you will be given a class credit.
