Class Description
Ages 5-7 $12, $10.80 for ACWL Members Using blobs of paint, students will create symmetric bug prints. They will then use construction paper to add details to their bug. Students will gain a clear understanding of symmetry while having fun with paint and creating their own colorful designs. Class minimum:4 Class maximum: 10 About the Instructor: Hollie Hulst grew up in west Michigan and attended college at the College for Creative Studies in Detroit, studying Illustration and Art Education. She has lived in the White Lake Area since 2018. Aside from working as an illustrator and designer, she has also taught art in various settings over the last 10 years. Currently, her art focuses on children's book illustrations and abstract landscape paintings. ACWL-Nuveen classes are supported by CatchMark Technologies, Michigan Arts & Culture Council, the National Endowment for the Arts and the Nuveen Benevolent Trust.

Please note - Registration for classes is required, unless otherwise noted. You may register online, by calling (231) 893-2524 or visiting the ACWL-Nuveen. Please enroll in classes at least 48 hours before the scheduled class time. Courses cancelled due to insufficient enrollment will be 100% refunded. You can cancel your registration up to 3 days in advance of the class date. If you withdraw from a class less than 3 days before the class, you will be given a class credit.
