Using the watercolors of master artist Vincent van Gogh as inspiration, this class is designed to encourage your creativity and nourish your love for painting. Artist Instructor Lori McElrath Eslick will do watercolor demos throughout, covering techniques such as color mixing, wet into wet, using salt, and more. Lori will also discuss what you must be aware of as far as color placement and timing when painting plein air in watercolors. All materials will be provided, but students are welcome to bring their own supplies if they have certain materials they like to work with. This class will be held at the pavilion at Montague Trailhead Park - 4484 Spring St. Montague. If light rain is forecast, class will continue us we'll be under the pavilion. If we have an impending thunderstorm, ACWL-Nuveen staff will be in touch early in the day to let participants know our plan.
