Class Description
Ages 16+ $30, $27 for ACWL Members Learn a brand new art form and create a cute 3D songbird using wool and a felting needle. You will build the Robin from the core, add the color and make the legs. This class will provide the foundational knowledge needed to create more songbirds. You will also see several possibilities for how to display them. Class minimum:4 Class maximum: 12 About the Instructor: Marie Essenberg has been a nature and wildlife artist for 50 years and nature is where her soul thrives and roots connect. She has used many mediums to create detailed artwork such as oil, watercolor, pastel, graphite, colored pencil, pen and ink, acrylic, and scratchboard. Over the years her work has been shown at many galleries and art shows in several states. ACWL-Nuveen classes are supported by the White Lake Community Fund of the Community Foundation for Muskegon County, CatchMark Technologies, Michigan Arts & Culture Council, the National Endowment for the Arts and the Nuveen Benevolent Trust.
Cancellation Policy
Please note - Registration for classes is required, unless otherwise noted. You may register online, by calling (231) 893-2524 or visiting the ACWL-Nuveen. Please enroll in classes at least 48 hours before the scheduled class time. Courses cancelled due to insufficient enrollment will be 100% refunded. You can cancel your registration up to 3 days in advance of the class date. If you withdraw from a class less than 3 days before the class, you will be given a class credit.
