Class Description

Ages 16+ $12, $10.80 for ACWL Members Does it feel like you’re posting into the void? In this 2-hour workshop you will take steps to define your target audience, and learn techniques to make a great first impression and keep engaging with them online, or in-person! You will learn: ○ How to expand your audience demographics using interests and passions, no market research necessary. ○ How to consider what your audience wants to know, and needs to know, about you, your process, and your artwork. ○ How to curate an online experience that speaks directly to your audience, instead of sharing less relevant information about your accomplishments or hobbies. ○ How to build mutually-beneficial opportunities by collaborating with other artists or organizations who have similar, or overlapping audiences. These workshops are designed for artists who have beginning or intermediate exhibition and selling experience. All are welcome to attend, and even established artists will find inspiration and community in these workshops. There will be plenty of time for artists to share their personal experiences and get recommendations and insight from the facilitator and their peers.
