Class minimum:4 Class maximum: 12 About the Instructor: Melissa Van Eck has been working with wool and creating 2D felted wool pieces for 4 years. It all started with a kit purchased at the Allegan Fiber Festival. The pure enjoyment of feeling the wool work beneath her fingertips and the tactile movement of felting lead Melissa to teach herself how to work with wool. Melissa started to teach this skill two years ago and has had many successful classes. ACWL-Nuveen classes are supported by the White Lake Community Fund of the Community Foundation for Muskegon County, CatchMark Technologies, Michigan Arts & Culture Council, the National Endowment for the Arts and the Nuveen Benevolent Trust.
