About the event
Participants will use unspun wool fibers and embellishment fibers(such as silk and/or curly locks) to learn wet felting using a resist to create a seamless small wristlet bag. Students will lay out selected fibers in layers over a plastic resist, add some surface embellishment fibers, saturate it with soapy water, and then use hand agitation (rubbing & rolling) to create a felted fabric. The bag will be sewn into a metal frame with an attached wrist strap. The finished wristlet will measure approximately 5 inches wide by 5.5 inches high, perfect for holding a few "essentials"!
