About the event

Create your own mosaic using seeds and beans with PJ Johnson! Over the course of three classes, students will design, create, and finish a 12" x 16" mosaic that will be ready to hang. Class will meet on Wednesdays, June 5, 12, & 26 from 3:00-5:00pm. (Please note - there is no class on June 19 as HealthWest will be closed). 

A note about the venue:

This class is being hosted by HealthWest and is open to HealthWest staff and clients.  When you arrive, please let the staff member at the front desk know you are there for the art class and they will take you to the classroom. Please note that the instructor is not an art therapist.

Pay What you Can Pricing:

This class is supported by the ACWL-Nuveen Scholarship Fund. If you cannot afford the $90 class fee, you may still attend the class for $65, $40 or $20. To see the other pricing options, click 'more prices' under Tickets. ACWL-Nuveen member discounts do not apply to scholarship prices.

About the Instructor:

PJ Johnson graduated from Western Michigan University with degress in art, science, and social science. She owned and operated the Lakeshore School of Fine Arts for 32 years. PJ has worked extensively with a diverse range of students, including those involved with juvenile mental health court, juvenile court, MAISD, Poppen Foundation and AARP. She has also taught for Kendall College in Summer Youth Art Program.
