About the event

In the second session of Intro to Photography, students will learn the basic rules for creating a successful composition with appropriate lighting.  Led by photographer Denise McElrath, students will explore know ideas of composition, as well as how light-meter, shutter speed, aperture, and ISO can impacting your lighting. 

Students should have or borrow a camera with manual settings, such as a film SLR, DSLR, or Mirrorless camera, to use in this class.

This class is part two of a 4-part series, but you do NOT have to have taken class 1 to take any of the other classes. 

Class minimum: 4

Class maximum: 12
