Wheel Throwing - Wednesday Evenings

Learn the fundamental techniques of creating pottery on a pottery wheel. In this class, participants will learn how to center clay on the wheel, shape it into various forms such as bowls, cups, and vases, and trim and finish their pieces. The class is designed for individuals with little to no experience in pottery, as well as those who have some basic knowledge and want to further develop their skills. Throughout the class, participants will receive guidance and instruction from an experienced pottery instructor, who will demonstrate techniques and provide individualized feedback. By the end of the class, participants will have gained a solid foundation in wheel throwing and will have created several functional and decorative pottery pieces.

Class fee includes instruction, multiple firings, glazes, and 25 lbs of clay per student.
