About the event
John Herron is coming back to Whitehall with some new watercolor demonstrations for beginners and advanced students. Learn some watercolor fundamentals and a few wet and wild ways to a finished painting. If you have tried watercolor painting and you want to discover some new ways to be bolder and looser, this workshop is for you. Never picked up a brush in your life? Then be prepared to surprise yourself with your first watercolor masterpiece!
This workshop is all about fun, experimentation, and discovery.Â
All supplies and materials will be provided.

About the Instructor:
John lives in suburban Chicago and teaches watercolor painting at the Evanston Art Center. He studied at the American Academy of Art and the Art institute of Chicago. He is a Muskegon native who specializes in landscapes inspired by Lake Michigan, the dunes, the swamps and forests found up and down the West Michigan shore.
