Tooling Foil Plaques with PJ Johnson

In this three-part class students will learn how to draw designs on aluminum tooling foil to create unique embossed metal wall art. Because this foil is 36 gauge or .005” thick it is pliable yet strong - students will discover how fun it is to draw into and manipulate. Once the designs are complete students will learn how to mount their artwork to a French cut corner birch plaque. In the third-class students will work on the finishing touches and enhance their plaques by using colorful markers.

A note about the venue:

This class is being hosted by HealthWest and is open to HealthWest staff and clients.  When you arrive, please let the staff member at the front desk know you are there for the art class and they will take you to the classroom. Please note that the instructor is not an art therapist.
