About the event
Get a glimpse into the studio practice of professional artist and educator Tatsuki Hakoyama! See how he sets up his workspace, how he uses reference images, and learn about his process. Taz will be working on a figurative painting while in the ACWL-Nuveen studio, but attendees are welcome to bring their own pieces - of any style or medium - to work on during the demonstration. Taz will take questions from those in attendance and provide feedback. Â

About the Instructor:
Tatsuki Hakoyama is a Japanese artist who works with a broad range of content and mediums, including painting, drawing, and papermaking. He received his bachelor’s degree from Central Michigan University, and his Master of Fine Arts in Painting from Kendall College of Art & Design of Ferris State University (KCAD) in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Aside from exhibiting his work in various solo and group exhibitions, he is an Assistant Professor of Studio Arts at KCAD.
