SOLD OUT: Summer Art: Have a Heart Tin Ornaments

Students will learn about a new technique called repousse, the idea of creating texture in thin sheet metal out of aluminum or copper thin gauge. They will get to experiment with pattern-making to create a fun heart ornament that can be hung in the window or on a tree. Color will be added to the metal for a funky or distressed look in form of alcohol ink, markers or gilder's paste. The finished heart ornament will be 3-4 inches.

Casey Bemis has lived in the Whitehall area for over 10 years, working in her studio in the quiet woods just a few miles from Lake Michigan.
