About the event
Throughout this class students will study, explore, and create art inspired by common garden flowers. This class is perfect for students who like to try new things! Each session we will be using new materials to practice our drawing and painting techniques.
Class minimum: 4
Class maximum: 10
About the Instructor:
Since an early age Chelsea Kirksey has found art to be a lens through which to explore our relationships with the world, others, and ourselves. She holds a BFA in Art Education from Michigan State University and continues to teach community-based art in the Muskegon area. Her teaching is rooted in exploratory mindsets and encourageing her students to find their own artistic voice through the process
ACWL-Nuveen Summer Art Camps are supported by the Lothmann Family Fund of the Community Foundation for Muskegon County (CFFMC). It is the support of the Lothmann family that allows us to offer these classes at such affordable rates. To learn more about or to donate to funds at the CFFMC, visit https://muskegonfoundation.org/
