About the event
Are you intimidated by sketching trees or adding them into artwork? This class held in honor of Earth day sets you up for success. We will observe tree structure and render them in a variety of mediums, working up to a finished piece. If you can scribble, you can create a tree! All skill levels are encouraged

About the Instructor:
Mary Jo (MJ) Ernst grew up in West Michigan and has been sketching her whole life. She uses all types of mediums in her artwork. Ink, especially solubles, is her preferred choice for quick sketching. Her sketch style is whimsical and impressionistic. MJ encourages anyone, all skill levels, to pick up a pen, pencil or brush to get started and make a mark!
