Quick Sketch: People

Do  you struggle with adding people to your sketches? In this class you will learn how to quickly sketch the human form in different degrees of completion and detail, as well as the importance of incorporating people into artwork to add scale and interest. A variety of mediums will be demonstrated and used.

About the Instructor:

Mary Jo (MJ) Ernst grew up in West Michigan and has been sketching her whole life. She uses all types of mediums in her artwork. Ink, especially solubles, is her preferred choice for quick sketching.  Her sketch style is whimsical and impressionistic. MJ encourages anyone, all skill levels, to pick up a pen, pencil or brush to get started and make a mark!
