About the event
Good looking, quality picture framing is the final touch that can make or break the sale of your drawing, painting, photo or other two dimensional art. But sometimes you don’t have the money to invest in brand new materials or professional picture framing. Chester Winowiecki was a picture framer for 5 years, framing everything from posters and family photos to original art worth tens of thousands of dollars. In this talk and demonstration, Chester will show you how to make the best of ready-made frames and mats, second hand materials from thrift shops and how to know when to go to the pros to get what you need. A small investment in a few tools will make framing your own work quick and easy.
No materials will be provided for this demonstration but attendees can bring a framed or unframed piece of art if they would like advice on it. Time permitting, we can use them as an example for the class.
This talk is FREE for Artists Members of the ACWL-Nuveen Gallery.
