About the event
In this fun art class students will explore the ancient craft of tooled metal paired with the contemporary use of alcohol inks to create fun and flashy holiday ornaments and baubles such as pendants and brooches. Students will use a variety of tools and textures to create a raised surface in soft tin. Alcohol inks applied to this surface flow and blend to create lovely translucent color arrays.
Class minimum: 4
Class maximum: 8

COVID-19 Considerations:
Since this class is following the Thanksgiving holiday and the current COVID numbers in Michigan are quite high, we are asking that students bring/be able to show proof of vaccination and wear a mask throughout the class. We will also crack the door and have a fan running to help with air circulation.
ACWL-Nuveen classes are supported in part by grants from the Michigan Council for Arts & Cultural Affairs, the National Endowment for the Arts and the Nuveen Benevolent Trust.
