About the event
As part of the Urban Sketchers Day - celebrating Wish You Were Here: Urban Sketchers Global Exhibition - Mary Jo Ernst will be leading a sketch walk through Whitehall and Montague. We will meet at the ACWL-Nuveen to kick off things off and head out from there! We will have basic supplies available - participants are encouraged to bring their own!

About the Instructor:
Mary Jo (MJ) Ernst grew up in West Michigan and has been sketching her whole life. She uses all types of mediums in her artwork. Ink, especially solubles, is her preferred choice for quick sketching. Her sketch style is whimsical and impressionistic. MJ encourages anyone, all skill levels, to pick up a pen, pencil or brush to get started and make a mark!
