About the event
Learn leather working and leather tooling through the process of making a knife sheath. Working with a basic knife sheath kit, students will learn about and use a variety of tools to create their personalized sheath, including a leather swivel knife, tooling stamps, a rivet setter, a stone tooling slab and more. The finished sheath will fit a knife up to 5 inches long and will be able to be attached to a belt. All materials are provided.Â

Pay What you Can Pricing:
This class is supported by the ACWL-Nuveen Scholarship Fund. If you cannot afford the $50 class fee, you may still attend the class for $25. Â ACWL-Nuveen member discounts do not apply to scholarship prices.
About the Instructor:
Drover's passions in life are teaching, being outdoors, and making things; if he can do these three things he’s a happy man. For years he has taught wilderness survival and homesteading skills, blacksmithing, and boatbuilding at Sarqit Outdoor Living School.
