About the event

In Grief is a Verb we will create bracelets, pins, and/or magnets in memory of lost loved ones. Express bereavement while honoring your loved ones with simple materials of beads, wire, felt, buttons, fabric scraps and glue. Utilize words, dates, shapes, colors and textures to create a tangible reminder that both channels and expresses deepest feelings. String alphabet beads on wire to spell out a special name, date or word. Glue bits or buttons on a felt base to make a magnet representing your person's nature or character. This is a hands-on artmaking session to express your grief visually. We will be using scissors, memory wire and hot glue guns but no previous experience is necessary.
