About the event
Students will learn the basics of etched copper jewelry and complete 2-4 copper cuffs of various widths that they can wear or give as a gift. They will learn how to draw patterns on their metal pieces employing the use of geometry, abstraction, or realistic drawings. Instructor, Casey Bemis will guide students through the use of patinas after the pieces are etched to give their jewelry a distinctive finish.
There will be a break for lunch - please bring a lunch or plan to run over to Subway or Wesco to get something during the break.
