Creatively Organized: The Business of Art

Should I table at an art fair or apply for gallery shows? Should I sell locally, or make an online store? With limited time and endless options, artists need a game plan when it comes to the small business side of our craft. So come make one! In this two-hour workshop we'll discuss different approaches to the business of art, and how modern marketing theories can help you develop your ideal customer base.

About the Instructor:

Chelsea Lake Roberts is the Director of Brand and Design at Truscott Rossman, a leading communications firm. She is an artist, a writer, and a creative director with a passion for artistic communities. She holds an MA in Theatre, and she has taught hundreds of students how to make art while more deeply experiencing the art around them.
