About the event

Utilizing jump rings, students will learn how to properly manipulate them into intricate patterns to create a bracelet. They will learn the basics of how to use and what types of pliers are necessary for the project.

Students will learn a couple of different styles in the process of the classes, as well as how to continue on with projects on their own and where to look for inspiration.  All materials will be provided.

Class minimum: 4

Class maximum: 10

About the Instructor:

Casey Bemis has lived in the Whitehall area for 12 years now, working in her studio in the quiet woods just a few miles from Lake Michigan. Much of the work is inspired by nature, geometry and science. Utilizing her undergraduate degree in painting, she draws directly on sheets of metal to be etched and then made into unique jewelry. She also paints and finds some time to work on several novels.
