Materials Madness

There are so many art materials out there, and they can be expensive, so how do you know what to buy?  You can get instruction from a book, video, or online, but you can't test-drive the materials!

Join us for a fast-paced, informative, and hands on exploration of dozens of art materials. Learn their technical and creative qualities. We'll test out a range of paints, mediums and additives, types of pencils and drawing tools. We'll learn about supports and papers. We'll explore what materials can be mixed, and which can't. You'll have an opportunity to test the materials, have time to ask questions, and will leave with a notebook with information and your samples.
