About the event
A collage is a type of art that is made by sticking various different materials such pieces of magazines or photographs onto a piece of paper. Not only is collage fun it is a great way to learn about the elements of Art! In this course, students will draw objects on a piece of paper and then use old magazines to create an interesting design based on warm/cool colors, value, shade/tint, mood, balance, complementary colors.
About the Instructor:
Holding a degree in Art Education from Central Michigan University, Marv Bolthouse has taught for over twenty years at Orchard View High School in Muskegon, MI. Drawing and painting is his passion - along with teaching the elements of art to young people. Marv truly enjoys witnessing students grow as artists.
