Brighten Your Day With Inks - Nov. 19
Time & Location
About the Event
Come create bright artwork using inks and other mediums! In this class, you will be able to try out different painting and sketching techniques using various inks in beautiful, bright colors. Ink is great for all skill levels and no experience is needed. You will leave the class with a 4"x6" or 5"x7" artwork, one white art mat sized to fit an 8" x 10" frame, and a plastic sleeve to protect artwork. Depending on how quickly you work, you may be able to make multiple pieces. A great option for a unique, handmade, holiday gift!
About the Instructor:
Mary Jo (MJ) Ernst grew up in West Michigan and has been sketching her whole life. She owns and operates a custom dress shop in the Chicago area. She uses all types of mediums in her artwork. Ink, especially solubles, is her preferred choice for quick sketching. Her sketch style is whimsical and impressionistic. When visiting family in the West Michigan area you may see her out sketching local people and sites . MJ encourages anyone, all skill levels, to pick up a pen, pencil or brush to get started and make a mark!
