Spring Break Art Camp
April 2nd, 3rd, & 4th
Get the kids in your life out of the house and into the art studio during their Spring Break! We have a class for every age of student and each class is only $10, thanks to our sponsor, Seaver's Lawn Service. Visit our classes page or click the buttons below to reserve your spot!
Compose & Create / Grades K-2 / 10:00-11:00 a.m.
Explore music and art in this hybrid class! Students will compose their own musical piece - based on a springtime story - using graphic notation. They will also do musical improvisation and create and decorate their own musical instruments.
No prior musical knowledge is necessary for this class.
Stone Stories / Grades 3-5 / 1:00 - 2:00 p.m.
My Stone Story - students will make 6 picture stones using paint, markers and decoupage that will help them tell a story of their choice. You will make a fabric bag to hold your stones. Students are asked to bring in smooth flat stones to paint on for extra if they have them. (not required)
Design From Nature / Grades 6-12 / 3:00-4:30 p.m.
Welcome spring by starting your artwork with a plant, bird or insect, then explore abstraction as you experiment with materials and layers to create a contemporary artwork. This class will work on simplification of form, creating a background, layering through collage, drawing, and more.
