
Whimsical Creators: Snowmen
Students will create a snowman in two forms: watercolor painting and 3-D sculpture.

Class Description
Ages 7-9 What do you think your snowman does at night?!? In this 3-week class, students will use their imagination to make their snowman come to live in two forms: a watercolor painting and a 3-D sculptures. Students will learn basic watercolor techniques to paint their snowman in a landscape setting, and will sculpt their snowman using air dry clay and paper mache. Class minimum: 4 Class maximum: 8 About the Instructor: Kathy Rogers is an artist and retired elementary school art teacher from Whitehall. She has taught at the ACWL-Nuveen Center for years, is an Artist Member and active volunteer at the ACWL-Nuveen. Please note - Registration for classes is required, unless otherwise noted. You may register online, by calling (231) 893-2524 or visiting the ACWL-Nuveen. Please enroll in classes at least 48 hours before the scheduled class time. Courses cancelled due to insufficient enrollment will be 100% refunded. You can cancel your registration up to 3 days in advance of the class date. If you withdraw from a class less than 3 days before the class, you will be given a class credit.
