Welcome, Janet!

This January, Janet Flood joined the ACWL-Nuveen team as our new Finance Associate and we are so happy to have her! A long-time Muskegon resident, Janet has been working in finance for 25 years. She has tons of experience with QuickBooks, customer service, and business management. Outside of finance, Janet and her husband also run a DJ and Photo Booth business.

Janet has five daughters, three of which have or are currently serving in the military. Another daughter is a front-line worker at Spectrum. Her husband serves as a curator of the LST 393 WWII Military Ship Museum. She also has two dogs, a pug and chiweenie, which are her best buds!

When not working or hanging out with her pups Janet enjoys biking, hiking, and taking long walks. She also started painting about 5 years ago. She works in a pointillism style and spends most of her free time creating. During lockdown, her art has kept her happy and content, and filled her days with color and calmness.

Janet is excited to start working in the arts field and is looking forward to becoming more involved with the ACWL-Nuveen and the wider White Lake community.

The Nuveen Center is accessible to all visitors–whatever their ability. Each room is wheelchair accessible, including classrooms and restroom. Guide animals are also welcome. Feel free to call us in advance of your visit so we can accommodate any special needs.
