In this fun, dynamic beginning puppetry class, students between 3rd and 6th grade will learn the foundation of stage puppetry and basic characterization - physical commitment, voice, emotion and basic puppet operation. Students will work with the instructor to make their puppets come alive and connect with the audience. The instructor will be giving a brief history on puppetry, as well as discussing the different types of puppets. The students will leave with newfound skills and an understanding of the power of puppetry!
